As a software tester your goal is to ensure application reliability. You will be responsible for creating automated test cases, intentional-breaking, stress-testing and validating complex business logic in the systems.
Responsibilities:
- Automated Testing: Design and maintain automated test suites that document user journeys and document application bugs which need to be reported to the developers.
- Must be aware of Basic penetration testing, OWSAP Top 10, and encryption protocol validation.
- Proficient in Selenium to run tests in QA server and provide reports to team lead.
- Managing the Bug Life Cycle right from Triage, Reproduction Steps & ultimately Resolution.
- API Testing using Postman
- Regression Testing to ensure new features do not accidentally break an old feature.
Requirements:
- Any course/degree in computer science domain or equivalent practical experience.
- Understanding of Microsoft’s ASP.net framework and concepts of MVC.
- Proficient in C++, C#, JAVA, Python,
- Hands-on with Microsoft SQL Server database
- Good oral and written communication skills.
