The Reserve Bank of India has introduced EDPMS (Export Data Processing and Management System) to manage and maintain the export data of goods exported from various regions of India. All AD Banks need to upload Export data each pertaining to Receipt of Documents, Payment Realisation, Payment Extension, Payment write off/set off and AD Transfers,
The EDPMS interface streamlines bank processes such as enabling AD Banks to upload data in XML formats as specified by RBI. The various XML file requirements to enable AD’s to upload are as follows:
- AD Response - Receipt of Export Document
- AD Response - Payment Realisation Notification
The LMCC EDPMS interface facilitates bulk upload of data to the Reserve Bank of India’s EDPMS Server thereby reducing manual effort and time. The Interface will take input data like Export Bill Document Receipt and Export Bill Realisation in Excel / CSV format and maintain the data in the EDPMS Module. There will be a data validation reports to check for any errors. Users will be provided access to update the input data in case of errors. The Interface will then generate the output files required to be uploaded into RBI EDPMS SYSTEM.
